NCMN's core training system includes four seminars in addition to the three schools, helping Christians possess both spiritual sensitivity and practical power. These four seminars provide a spiritual foundation for NCMN training as a whole and function as essential tools of spiritual formation for Christians to grow as Nations-Changers.
In the Life of Hearing God's Voice seminar, the Lord wants all of us to live hearing His voice in the same way. In Isaiah 55, He said that when we hear the Lord's voice, our souls live, we gain strength, we are healed, we are able to understand the Lord's will, and we can live a life according to the Lord's will.
When we hear God's voice and live according to His will, we can please God and joyfully fulfill the Lord's will. A life of hearing God's voice is possible for anyone who believes in Jesus.
Through this God's Voice seminar, we want to understand what a life of hearing God's voice is. In particular, we want to learn more about hearing His voice speaking to us through the written Word of Scripture, and through a life of personal intimacy with the Lord, to hear the Lord's voice speaking to me, know His will, and live accordingly.
The whole book of Leviticus speaks about how we can come before the holy God, have fellowship before Him, and live on this earth as God's people. All this content was written because God spoke to Moses and Moses heard His voice. Moses did not write God's Scripture according to his own thoughts, his own methods, or his own ideas. He heard the voice God spoke to him and lived according to the Lord's Word.
The Holy Spirit God seminar begins before Acts 1:8: when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and be My witnesses in Jerusalem, all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. This Word was not given simply to command people to be witnesses, but because when those who have decided to be witnesses determine how they will live as witnesses, it is possible only when the Holy Spirit comes upon them and they receive the power of the Holy Spirit.
Anyone who desires to live according to the Lord's will needs the power of the Holy Spirit. This Holy Spirit seminar is the Maginot line for all such people, so that they are bound together and armed with the power of the Holy Spirit and established to fulfill the Lord's will.
For the people of Israel who returned from Babylonian captivity, God said that in rebuilding the temple and being established again to live as God's people, the most important thing was that it would be done only by the Spirit. Likewise, in this time, the church of this nation must stand strongly again and fulfill the Lord's will; what is truly more important than any knowledge or strategy is cultivating the power of the Holy Spirit.
Through this Holy Spirit seminar, we desire that God's will truly be fulfilled on this earth, and that every person be armed with the power of the Holy Spirit and live the life the Lord desires. Especially in NCMN ministry, if finance, the Bible, and leadership are the three ministries that lay the foundation for us to become NCers used by the Lord, then the power of the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for living such a life.
In the Spiritual Warfare and Intercession seminar, when we speak of spiritual warfare, it is often easy to think only of driving out or resisting demons that trouble our lives, or of the realm of evil spirits that simply bring disease and personal difficulties to us. Of course that is included, but the greater meaning of spiritual warfare is the battle against powers of darkness that seek to influence the nation, society, and every sphere.
Ephesians 6:12 says that the targets of our spiritual warfare are rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Rulers refers to powers that try to seize control in each nation and state, and that intensively attack leaders who guide the direction of nations and cities.
Authorities refers to groups that work continually so that every classified sphere of society, such as the economic sphere, education sphere, mass media, and arts sphere, is built on an unrighteous foundation. The powers of this dark world refer especially to forces that place falsehood rather than God's truth in the realms of religion, philosophy, and ideology, preventing people from going into truth.
The Lord has called us as warriors of spiritual warfare. The target we must fight is rulers. It is a battle against powers of darkness trying to pull the direction of this nation in the wrong direction, and at the same time the process of establishing the kingdom of God on a right foundation in this land is spiritual warfare.
We have been called to clearly understand this spiritual warfare, understand the targets, understand the authority given to us, resist the spirits of darkness by the power of the Holy Spirit given to us, the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, and the power of the cross, and establish God's kingdom. Resisting them, binding every sphere of their activity, and conversely releasing this land in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ so that God's kingdom founded on truth is established in every sphere of society: this itself is spiritual warfare.
The Spiritual Authority seminar holds to 2 Corinthians 10:8: "For even if I boast a little too much of our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be ashamed."
The source of all authority is in God alone. God is the beginning of authority. Because God loves the world, He desires to give blessing and abundant life in the world. To accomplish this will, God delegated authority to His workers. A person entrusted with God's authority becomes a good channel through which His blessing flows.
If authority is understood rightly, almost everything will go well. But if authority is misunderstood, everything will become a problem. The greatest tragedy of the present age is that authority and people in authority are remembered as uncomfortable and awkward, even as objects of resentment and hatred. This proves how many experiences of disappointment and wounds from people in authority there have been.
But there is hope. Authority and people in authority are channels of blessing established by God to share life and grace. When true authority is restored, the grace and love of God the Father will overflow like floodgates opening.
